DRINK NATURAL WINE

Nothing added.

Nothing taken away.

Natural wine is only one way to put it. “low intervention” “native yeast fermentation” “no/low sulfur” are also buzz words going around.

Really, this is wine made by folks who love theirs farms and have the best intention of making wine without additives or unnecessary steps. Let the wine talk.

FAQs

What’s natural wine?

Good question. There are a few things we look for: 1. native yeast fermentation 2. organic farming when possible 3. No additives (some sulfur is normal) 4. Minimal filtration 5. Fair work practices. Really, it’s about letting grapes show off the land they came from, not the wizardry of the winemaker.

Are your wines local?

Mostly. Lots of California and Oregon wines. What’s not local tends to be a fun selection of lesser known wine regions, or as we say “the odds and ends of the wine world”

Do you have beer? Non-alcoholic options?

Sure do. We have a selection of tall boys, sodas, teas, and NA wines.

Do you take reservations?

We do not take reservations, except for full take-over events. Email us at hello@nicowine.co to enquire about large groups.

Are you good for groups?

We love having a group, but please note our largest table seats 6. We encourage you to sit “freestyle” on the patio, taking up space where you can. We can try to accommodate 8 together depending on our overall occupancy.

Are kids allowed?

Unfortunately, no. We don’t have a full kitchen, thus our license prohibits minors. We’re really an adult atmosphere - chill vibes… and lots of glass. When you have child care, we’d love to welcome you to our completely child-free space.

Are you dog friendly?

Arf arf! I mean Yes yes! Well-behaved dogs are welcome on the patio. Please not fur friends on the furniture. Occasionally we might be at ‘pet capacity’ or ask ‘overly energetic’ pets to leave.

Can I bring food?

Totally. Our neighbors make some good salads, burgers, pizza, etc. Hit them up. Also, check out our snack / cheese menu for small bites.
